It's hard to fathom the number of changes that high school seniors have experienced this year. To better understand how they're coping and changing their college search behaviors Niche and Tudor Collegiate Strategies surveyed over 31,000 seniors to understand how they're doing and where they are in their college search. We'll discuss the results and how you can use them to serve students well and meet your goals.
- 47% of all students, and 56% of low-income students, have not started applying to colleges yet. New England and the west coast are furthest behind.
- 56% of students have attended a virtual event and 79% of those who have are interested in attending another one.
- 42% of students have reportedly not taken a standardized test, and 53% of low-income students have not.
- Only 8% of students felt that colleges sent personalized outreach to them.
